Past, Present, Future

From the series Following the Path

The Lord is the God of the past, present and future.

As mentioned, the Bible has proven itself time and time again with prophecy, which is "looking forward."

The Bible has also proven itself accurately in history and in archeology, which is "looking backward."

The Bible's great stories, history and themes are proven parts of the world's history.

Today we live in the present, and God's Word is still active. For those who have eyes to see, they will see the fingerprints of Gods handwriting all over the pages, they will hear the gentle words of God. All who love God, love His word.

Names like Abraham, Moses and Jesus are all accepted as historical facts by all historians.

Colossians 1:15-17

Live It

A.2. PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE . . .

What verse from God's word have you read that still speaks to you?

Isn't it amazing that words written 2000 years ago are still powerful and meaningful for us today!

Spend a few minutes right now and write a Facebook post or an email about the way that God's Word has spoken to your life today. Share it with your friends.

If you live in a place where that is illegal, write a note in your journal and store it someplace safe.
