Pray with Others

From the series Following the Path

Do you know other believers in Jesus? If so, make a commitment to pray with them. God loves it when His family prays with one another. By seeking God with other believers you will experience joy, unity and an awareness of His grace in fresh ways.

If you don't yet have a community to pray with, stop and ask God for one. He knows you need others to help you grow. He will be faithful to bring those people into your life as you trust Him to do so. If you live in a place of a severe persecution you can still join with other believers online.

F.3. PRAY WITH OTHERS . . .

Do you know any other Christians? Who is the one person in this life that you would love to be able to pray with? If this person does not know Jesus, could you share the truth of the gospel with them?

Before you go on to the next section, choose one person in your life with whom you would like to begin praying. Be bold and ask that person if they would like to pray with you.

PRAYER . . .

"Father God, I know that you want me to pray with other believers. Help me to be bold and initiate a time of prayer with other Christians. I trust you to bring more people into my life with whom I can begin to pray regularly. I see that there is so much power when followers of Jesus come together to seek you, oh Lord. Help this to become a reality in my life. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
