In Romans Ch. 6:1-11, Paul describes how our lives are completely changed once we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. We become united with Jesus and He is with us always. We are no longer alone; we have the Holy Spirit of God inside of us forever!
In Romans Ch. 6:11, Paul tells us that we, as Christians, are to consider ourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Jesus Christ. Our old identities, who we were before Jesus Christ saved us, are gone. We can now live in freedom, enjoying each moment with Jesus.

Though we are freed from the Law through Jesus Christ, we still respect and obey the Law. Paul explains, in Romans Ch. 7:7-13, how the Law helps us by revealing sin in our lives. If we don’t know that we’re sinning, how can we ever stop?
