Shawna

On the outside, everything looked perfect in Shawna's life. A nice house in the suburbs, a husband, children, a job. But inside the walls of her beautiful home, she was rejected and belittled by her husband. As Shawna put it, "He stopped liking me, and he let me know it."

Shawna felt lonely and unloved. But at church one day she realized that God could be whatever was missing in her life. God would be her husband. Isaiah 54:5 says: "For your Maker is your husband, the Lord Almighty is his name, the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth." What a beautiful promise!

Do you feel like you're missing something in your life? Love, a spouse, satisfaction, finances? God wants to fill in those empty places. He is big enough to fill them all! Just ask Him.
